Alex Ferguson and Wayne Rooney dont have Healthy Friendship

Sir Alex Ferguson might not have enjoyed a great relationship with Wayne Rooney in the last couple of years of his stint at Manchester United, but, the Scot still rates the striker very highly.

Rooney was believed to have got so fed up of Ferguson in 2013 that he had asked the Manchester United top brass to let him go to some other club.

VAN PERSIE SET FOR UNITED

Arsenal striker Robin van Persie could be set for Manchester United move, but only if the Dutchman agrees wages that match figures earned by the Manchester United hitman Wayne Rooney, according to Man Utd news. The 26-year-old England international is the highest paid player at the club after he is reportedly on a contract worth around £ 200,000 per week.

ROONEY HOPING TO BE FIT

Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has said that he hopes to be fit for the Euro 2012 group match against Ukraine. It will be the final group match of the campaign for England, but Wayne Rooney will be unavailable for the first matches because he is suspended after having received a silly red card in the match against Montenegro recently.

ROONEY WANTS MORE GOALS

Wayne Rooney does not intend to be deflected from the goal trail after beginning to answer Sir Alex Ferguson's call to reach double figures for Manchester United this season.

Rooney had just three to his name - two of which were penalties - prior to Tuesday night's Barclays Premier League victory over Aston Villa. It took the England star just 50 seconds to add to his haul with a fine finish, before tapping home another in first-half injury-time as United recorded a 3-1 win that kept them in charge of the title race.
